    Position Overview The Action Assigner will provide professional support services to the Joint Staff, Actions Division by supporting the Customer Service Branch
    The Action Assigner will support a variety of complex and routine administrative and analytical duties
    Essential Job Function


    • Use approved prioritization schemas to determine order of importance and impending deadlines.
    • Able to handle several complex tasks simultaneously.
    • Conduct a technical review of incoming correspondence and based on research and critical analysis, determine Joint Staff equity.
    • Prepare detailed instructions and provide appropriate templates to shape Joint Staff response.
    • Ensure that background and supporting information are provided in correspondence packages.
    • Provide the staff assistance to ensure the tailored responses to inquiries from a variety of sources are in compliance with executive preference and policies.
    • Receive incoming taskers for the Joint Staff, conduct analysis and assign as appropriate using updated templates and standardized/non standardized language in the instructions, and track deadlines and request extensions on taskers as necessary.
    • Provide task management support and updates to OSD issuances and publications.
    • Receive and review taskers from action officers/MILSECs, verify that the response fully and accurately meets the intent of the task
    Qualifications Minimum Qualifications


    • Bachelors degree in business-related field.
    • 6 years of professional experience in task management efforts.
    • Extensive experience supporting a variety of program, performance, and administrative functions.
    • Expert attention to detail, critical thinking and analytical skills, as well as excellent oral and written communication skills.
    • Expert knowledge of a variety of technologies, to include Adobe and Microsoft Office programs such as PowerPoint, Word, and Excel.
    • Top-Secret clearance
    Desired Qualifications


    • Knowledge of ETMS2/TMT or other similar tasking tool and familiarity with the DoD
