- The clinician will be the primary advance practice provider for patients on the SUD unit
- Review ED notes regarding medical clearance
- Assess patients for SUD and related medical issues
- Coordinate care of SUD patients, under the supervision of the Medical Director
- Ensure appropriate adherence to established SUD protocols
- Obtain specific SU history and prior SU treatment
- Review and evaluate appropriate use of medication supported treatment
- Provide client education and screening for SUD-related infectious issues
