• Patient Demographics: Adults requiring kidney care
• Dialysis Volume: Approx. 70 patients (50 hemodialysis, 20 peritoneal dialysis)

• Case Mix: Chronic kidney disease, dialysis management, inpatient nephrology consultations

FACILITY INFORMATION

• No. of Beds in Department: 17-bed ICU; 268-bed hospital
• Dialysis Center: Local 20-chair dialysis center
• ICU Coverage: 24/7 hospitalist and ICU support
• Equipment: CRRT available
• Support Staff Available: 1 Physician and 2 Advanced Practice Providers (APRs)

JOB REQUIREMENTS

• Licenses: Arkansas medical license (or eligibility to obtain)
• Certifications: Board Certified/Board Eligible in Nephrology
• DEA
• Visa Accepted: J-1 or H-1B
• Experience: Open to new graduates
• Other Qualifications: - Strong interest in comprehensive nephrology care - Excellent collaboration and patient communication skills

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

• Provide outpatient and inpatient nephrology services
• Oversee dialysis care for HD and PD patients
• Collaborate with APRNs and hospital teams
• Participate in call rotation (1:3)
• Contribute to program development and patient-centered care initiatives
