- Bachelor of Arts or Bachelor of Science degree is preferred.
- Requires ability to work independently, interpreting and executing treatment plans, consulting with dosimetrists, medical physicists, and radiation oncologists.
- Requires strong mathematical skills including algebra, geometry, and trigonometry.
- Requires ability to visualize objects in three dimensions to facilitate treatment planning.
- Requires knowledge of anatomy and physiology.
- Requires knowledge of radiation safety and current rules and regulations.

IU Health has an exciting opportunity available for a Dosimetrist to join our team of experts working between University and Methodist Hospital in downtown Indianapolis.
The Dosimetrist supports the radiation therapy department by providing a full range of physics services including, but not limited to dosimetry, treatment planning, and quality assurance activities.
The Dosimetrist documents all pertinent information in the patient record as well and provides assistance to the Medical Physicist as needed.
