• Clear Path Recycling site's Logistics team based in Fayetteville, NC.

The ideal candidate for t he Material Handler possesses a safety mindset while using a high degree of ownership and accountability to support plant operations by transporting materials, supplies, and finished products to designated locations.

Responsibilities The Material Handler will be reportable to the Shift Supervisor and have responsibilities for the following tasks:

Follow all applicable plant rules, maintenance and safety rulesResponsible for transporting material as directed using a forklift and clamp truckComplete production recordsResponsible for housekeeping within the entire sorting area.

This includes heavy sweeping and shoveling debris off the floorResponsible for reporting all necessary maintenance repair items and safety concerns to the Supervisor Skills & Qualifications Possess a high school diploma or equivalentValid Forklift CertificationMust have a positive attitude and team player with coworkers and Shift Team LeaderMust follow safety procedures, quality procedures, good manufacturing procedures, and good maintenance proceduresMust be able to handle extreme weather environments (heat, cold, humidity)Strong attention to detail and organizational skillsAlpek Polyester USA, LLCis a global leader in the production of PTA (Terephthalic Acid), PET (Polyethylene Terephthalate) Resins, PET Recycling (rPET), and Specialty Polymers.
