Job Title: Engineer Technician (INTERN)
Location: Irvine, CA 92618
Pay Rate: $ /hour on W2.
Shift: Monday through Friday 8AM-5PM.
Job Description:
Seeking to hire an Intern / Co-op to work on three operational process and system improvement projects.
Projects will be focused on improvement of our Product Design Documentation and loading of specifications into our new databases.
This project will involve heavy collaboration with our Senior Packaging Engineers, along with partnering with our Marketers and Manufacturing Engineers to clarify and or establish documentation around:
Primary and Secondary Packaging design specifications
Finished product customer performance expectations.
Tools and Accessory design specifications
Chemical regulatory data
Works with moderate work direction and can identify issues/problems but may need assistance in resolving. Worker performs tasks to assist engineers such as preliminary research, initial drawings or diagrams, design modification, or testing.
Operates under direct supervision from an engineer or a senior technician.
The qualified candidate for this position should possess the following credentials:
2+ years of post-secondary education in a qualified college degree program in Engineering (any) or Science (Chemistry, Physics, Math, Statistics, Biology, or similar)
Ability to clearly communicate and translate complex technical information clearly and succinctly.
Effective communication/follow up skills.
Good technical writing/familiarity with technical terminology/documentation management
Will help their technical team follow up with vendors, find gaps in documentation, help find process flows if one is not available.
A lot of this project is admin/clerical/computer work so that can be handled flexibly within their schedule and offsite if needed.
