Job summary
Works as a Sports Athletic Training under the clinical supervision of the practice physician(s). To work directly with our Student athletes overseeing athletic events that occur weekly at high school location(s) within Palm Beach County.
+Responsibilities
- The athletic trainer is a clinical expert in musculoskeletal conditions, who can provide a high standard of care to all orthopedic patients.
- The AT serves as a liaison between the patient and physician.
Qualifications
- Bachelors.
Licenses & Certifications
NATA Certified Athletic Trainer.
Licensed Athletic Trainer.
Automated External Defibrillator Certification.
Basic Life Support.
Additinal Qualification BS in Athletic Training State of Florida Department of Health license in Athletic Training certified by the National Athletic Trainer Association Board of Certification Inc .in Athletic Training Must be Professional detail oriented team player with effective interpersonal communication skills Confidentiality must Proficient in computer applications and typing skills Experience electronic medical record systems preferred Bilingual preferred Excellent leadership problem solving skills High ethical standards HIPAA OSHA compliance required EOE including disability vetsJob description
