    We seek an

    MxU Engineering Designer

    with a background in cable/telephone multi-tenant engineering and design to assist with projects in the area. You will be responsible for field surveys, design creation, quality control, and reporting. You must be proactive and have solid, positive communication skills.

    What you'll do


    Fiber Network Design:
    Plan, design, and implement fiber optic networks for indoor construction projects, with a focus on Multi-Dwelling Units (MXUs).
    Conduct site surveys to assess feasibility and gather necessary data for design.

    CAD Proficiency:
    Utilize Computer-Aided Design (CAD) software to create detailed and accurate fiber optic network layouts.
    Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure designs align with project requirements.

    Building Code Compliance:
    Stay updated on relevant building codes and regulations to ensure compliance in all design activities.
    Incorporate building code requirements into fiber network designs to meet industry standards.

    MXU Experience:
    Demonstrate expertise in designing fiber optic networks for Multi-Dwelling Units, considering the unique challenges and requirements of such projects.
    Optimize designs for scalability and efficiency in MXU environments.

    Project Management:
    Collaborate with project managers and other stakeholders to ensure seamless integration of fiber designs into overall project plans.
    Provide technical support during the construction phase, addressing any design-related issues that may arise.

    Documentation and Reporting:
    Maintain detailed and organized project documentation.
    Generate reports and documentation for internal and external stakeholders, including project progress and compliance with design specifications.

    Excel Proficiency:
    Utilize advanced Excel skills for data analysis, project tracking, and reporting.
    Develop and maintain spreadsheets to manage and organize project-related information.
    Do you have what it takes?

    Bachelor's degree in electrical engineering, Telecommunications, Related field, Or equivalent experience
    Proven experience as a Fiber Design Engineer, specifically with MXU projects.
    Proficiency in CAD software for fiber optic network design.
    Strong knowledge of building codes and regulations.
    Advanced skills in Excel for data analysis and project management.
    Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
    Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet project deadlines.
    Our commitment to you

    $70k-$85K per year depending upon experience
    Mileage reimbursement for vehicle use
