    LHH is looking for a Senior Financial Analyst to work for one of our premier clients located in the Chicagoland area. The Senior Financial Analyst will play a key role in driving financial analysis, forecasting, and decision support for the organization. The Senior Financial Analyst will work closely with the senior leadership team and partner with cross-functional teams to provide actionable insights and strategic recommendations to drive business growth and profitability. The ideal candidate will have a strong analytical background, excellent communication skills, and a proven track record of delivering metrics in profitability in short-term and long-term planning.

    The Senior Financial Analyst will be responsible for the following:

    • Conduct financial analysis and modeling to support strategic initiatives, including budgeting, forecasting, and long-term financial planning.
    • Prepare and analyze monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports, including variance analysis and key performance indicators.
    • Partner with business units to develop and track financial metrics and performance targets, and provide insights to drive operational improvements.
    • Evaluate investment opportunities and capital allocation decisions through financial modeling, ROI analysis, and scenario planning.
    • Assist in the development of business cases and presentations for senior leadership, highlighting key findings, risks, and recommendations.
    • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support pricing strategies, product launches, and other business initiatives.
    • Monitor industry trends, competitive landscape, and macroeconomic factors to identify risks and opportunities for the business.
    • Participate in ad-hoc projects and analysis as required by senior management or departmental needs.
    • Mentor and provide guidance to junior financial analysts, fostering their professional development and growth.
    • Continuously seek opportunities to streamline processes, improve data integrity, and enhance the effectiveness of financial reporting and analysis.

    The Senior Financial Analyst will need to have the following qualifications:

    • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related field; MBA, CPA, or CFA certification is a plus.
    • 4+ years of experience in financial analysis, planning, or related roles.
    • Advanced proficiency in financial modeling, forecasting techniques, and Microsoft Excel.
    • Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex financial data and draw meaningful insights.
    • Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to convey complex financial concepts to non-financial stakeholders.
    • Proactive mindset with a focus on driving results and continuous improvement.
    • Ability to manage multiple priorities and thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
    • Experience with financial planning and analysis software (e.g., Hyperion, Adaptive Insights) is preferred.

Depending on the specific client, location, and role, the salary range is estimated to be $90,000 to $120,000 and benefits may include Comprehensive benefits package including medical, dental, and vision coverage, Retirement savings plan with employer match, and opportunities for professional development and advancement within the organization.
