    A week in the life of a

    Subject Matter Expert – Technical PM :
    Provide technical and management leadership on major technology assignments
    Establish goals and plans to meet assessment objectives
    Possess expert technical knowledge of various technologies used by Law Enforcement domains
    Define performance objectives and performance levels
    Understand and describe anomalies/flaws in decision-making of application development or acquisition
    Validate requirements and deliverables of products and services that projects/programs produce
    Resolve issues regarding program deliverables of various law enforcement technologies
    AMERICAN SYSTEMS is committed to pay transparency for our applicants and employee-owners. The salary range for this position is $110,000 - $145,000. Actual compensation will be determined based on several factors permitted by law.

    Job Requirements
    12+ years of experience in IT or Engineering field
    Bachelor's degree in STEM field
    DHS suitability clearance
    Experience with Department of Homeland Security
    Experience in systems engineering, acquisition, test and evaluation, sustainment
    Understanding of Systems acquisition lifecycle (e.g., ALF and MD-102).
    Familiarity with IEEE standard 1012, IEEE Standard , and the DHS SELC.
    Excellent writing, communications, and briefing skills.
    Certifications from DAU and DAWIA in Acquisition or test and evaluation
