    is a 3rd party search firm recruiting for a

    metal fabrication/manufacturing client company's Sales Director.


    The ideal candidate will reside in Southern Arizona as this position requires some travel to the plant in Nogales, Mexico.

    This position is remote with 50% U.S. national and international (Mexico) travel required. The position reports to the VP of Operations at the metal fabrication plant in Nogales, Mexico.

    As we continue to expand our market presence, we are seeking a dynamic and experienced Sales Manager to join our team and lead our sales efforts to new heights.

    The confidential company client base currently includes well know enterprises such as Otis Elevator, AT&T, Verizon, and more.


    JOB DESCRIPTION


    The ideal candidate for the Sales Director role at confidential company International will be a strategic thinker capable of identifying business opportunities that align with our capabilities and strengths.

    In this position, you will play a crucial role in managing the customer service team, fostering its growth, and allocating resources as necessary to ensure top-notch customer service and sales support.

    SUMMARY OF RESPONSIBILITIES / ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS


    Strategic Business Development:
    Identify and pursue new business opportunities in alignment with the company's sheet metal fabrication capabilities.
    Develop and implement strategic plans to expand the customer base and achieve sales targets.
    Lead efforts to diversify and strengthen market presence, with a focus on both local and broader markets.

    Team Leadership and Development:
    Manage and lead the commercial team, customer service, and after-sales teams.
    Foster a positive and collaborative team culture, providing guidance and support to team members.

    Project Management:
    Manage and drive project initiatives from conception to implementation, acting as a liaison between clients and internal teams.

    Work closely with the engineering team to ensure that project deliverables meet customer expectations in terms of quality and timelines.


    Communication and Reporting:
    Maintain clear and open communication channels with team members, clients, and internal stakeholders.

    Travel:
    Be willing to travel as needed to meet with clients, attend industry events, and address customer concerns.


    EXPERIENCE WILL INCLUDE
    Proven track record of successful sales leadership in a sheet metal fabrication or related manufacturing industry.
    Demonstrated ability to develop and execute strategic sales plans to achieve and exceed revenue targets.
    Familiarity with industry trends, materials, and technologies.
    Strong experience collaborating with different departments, including operations, supply chain, engineering, and marketing, to achieve common business objectives.
    Demonstrated ability to build and maintain strong client relationships, acting as a trusted advisor to high-profile customers.
    Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
    Ability to effectively communicate complex technical information to a diverse audience.
    Practical experience and hands-on skills in assessing project requirements and providing practical insights to the team.
    Meets and/or exceeds mutually agreed upon sales goals and objectives.
    Always presents a professional image to all stakeholders of the business.
    Assumes additional responsibilities as requested.


    MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS

    Any combination of education and experience in project management a customer-facing role with the required skill and knowledge for successful performance in company growth.

    Bilingual – Fluent in both English and Spanish, adeptly navigating the intricacies of business in both languages.
    Bachelor's degree, preferably, Engineering or Business, from an accredited college or university.
    Five+ years of professional experience as a Sales Manager and any background in the sheet metal fabrication industry.

    The posted salary is based solely on the base salary, and for the Sales Director position, commission will be paid in addition to the base salary.
