    JOB SUMMARY:

    The SAP Functional Design Lead, integral to the SAP Center of Excellence, provides hands-on leadership in SAP Functional design within the Information Technology domain. Focused on SAP S4/HANA, with emphasis on Vehicle Management System and Order to Cash modules, this role collaborates across business units to ensure functional design and configuration align with SAP best practices. Playing a key role in SAP S/4HANA implementation for high-volume automotive supply chain operations, the lead anticipates business needs, facilitates requirements, and guides comprehensive SAP solutions, demonstrating expertise in SAP VMS, sales, and distribution.

    ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

    • Facilitate, analyze, and translate business requirements into SAP application requirements.
    • Anticipate and provide integrated solutions aligned with SAP ecosystem operations.
    • Lead the design and implementation of SAP solutions for complex technical and business needs.
    • Provide comprehensive SAP support, including analysis, development, testing, tracking, and problem resolution.
    • Apply expert knowledge to address production problems and enhancement issues.
    • Lead the functional design of WRICEFs for Distribution and VPC Operations.
    • Act as a key expert in SAP VMS and sales and distribution within our client's organization.
    • Research and collaborate on innovative solutions for the SAP environment.
    • Maintain updated knowledge of SAP releases, patches, and apply OSS notes as needed.
    • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality SAP solutions.
    • Effectively communicate complex ideas and provide excellent customer service to end-users.
    QUALIFICATIONS:
    • Bachelor's degree with 8+ years of relevant experience or equivalent combination of education and experience.
    • 8+ years of SAP VMS configuration expertise, including at least 1 end-to-end implementation.
    • SAP ERP implementation experience, preferably with SAP S/4 Hana.
    • Strong communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills.
    • Detail-oriented with strong organizational and multitasking abilities.
    • SAP certification(s) is a plus.
