Description

We are hiring a Customer Service Account Manager at our location in Allegan, MI. This individual will receive and process customer orders, inquiries, and/or complaints covering items or products ordered, and supports customers through specialized technical or scientific knowledge/product applications.

Note: This position is eligible for a hybrid workplace arrangement with three days (Tuesday/Wednesday/Thursday) on-site in the Allegan, Michigan office.

Job duties:

Records and processes orders and/or inquiries received by mail email and personal customer contact.
Provides product updates, availability, and schedule information to both internal and external customers.
Researches and obtains resolution of a variety of customer complaints and issues.
Serves as link between customers and sales staff to assure responsiveness.
Works with customers and Demand Planning to help determine forecast changes and market events
Tracks order activity and alerts appropriate staff of any potential delivery problems.
Independently manages small tier accounts and utilizes customer systems to gather information or data to support the business
Manages short-dated inventory and works with customers to minimize obsolescence
Works within customer systems (Retail Link, Certio, McKesson CAR and MAP portals)
Facilitates and/or attends meetings with customers and value streams as needed
Reviews and reports customer service numbers

Required qualifications:

College or university degree or equivalent combination of education and experience
Five or more (5+) years of relevant experience
Demonstrated proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite

Preferred qualifications:

SAP experience
