    Job Summary:


    A The DevOps Engineer is responsible for working with the development teams to drive continuous integration, build and deployment processes, monitoring the production development environment, and providing any improvements to ensure the teams meet their goals to provide exceptional IT services to our business customers.


    We are looking for self-motivated, highly driven individuals, with a thirst for knowledge, able to take on the challenges of today's rapidly evolving technology world.

    Primary Responsibilities:
    Assist in the management of shared infrastructure services, such as RabbitMQ, Consul, Traefik, and Elastic Search
    Assist in the management and creation of servers via Chef and Terraform
    Help establish and maintain our Azure environment
    Help evaluate and select new technologies and processes
    Provide on-call support as needed
    Reduction of technical debt within the enterprise architecture
    Integration of third-party tools
    Participate in technology and tools evaluations or proof of concepts


    Other Roles and Responsibilities:
    Capable of designing and architecting new technology solutions
    Scripting and automation of manual processes
    System administration tasks such as DNS and certificate management
    Facilitate the software release process, including schedule production releases and hot fixes
    Ensures that all parties are informed of plans, progress and status of assigned projects
    Creates relevant technical documentation
    Production monitoring of server and applications to ensure the health of existing production systems
    Manage and develop build and deployment processes
    Azure DevOps administration including permissions, branching and source code policies
    Work closely with development team leads to solve build system issues, build standards, and follow best practices
    Troubleshooting compilation and deployment failures
    Octopus Deploy administration to manage software deployments
    Improve efficiency and scalability of the continuous integration environment via automation


    Desired Skills:
    Familiarity working with Azure
    Linux System Administration
    Microsoft System Administration
    Understanding of Active Directory
    Window Server and IIS configuration
    Familiarity within Microsoft .NET environment
    PowerShell to facilitate application deployments and server management
    Git
    Proficiency and comprehension of networking fundamentals, such as Firewalls, Load Balancers, Proxy Servers, and WAFs
    Understanding of TLS fundamentals
    Familiarity working with Chef and Terraform, or other Infrastructure as Code tools
    Automation of the application deployment process and environment configuration management
    Solid knowledge of best practices, processes, and tools required to support the application lifecycle management
    Strong written, spoken, and interpersonal communication skills, transparency among team members
    Team player with a positive, open-minded, gets it done attitude
    Passionate and up-to-date on the latest technologies
    Familiarity working in an agile and iterative development environment

    Minimum Education and Experience:

    7 years of IT experience
    Experienced in working within a Microsoft environment
    Familiarity in software development practices
    Strong learning skills and a desire to succeed

    Salary Range

    $107, $180,260.00

    This range reflects base pay only. Incentive earnings, like commissions or bonuses, are not included. This role is also eligible for an annual incentive plan based on company performance.
