Welcome to the Exhibitions Production Assistant role at Newcastle Art Gallery!A unique opportunity to join our team in this permanent, part-time position working 21 hours per week.
We are seeking a motivated and experienced Exhibitions Production Assistant to support the Curatorial team in planning and presenting short and long-term collection displays. This includes preparation, installation, and maintenance of exhibitions and displays.
You will work closely with the Exhibitions Lead, Exhibition Production Officer, Curatorial Officer (Exhibitions), and exhibition installation casuals during installation programs.
This role requires strong attention to detail, solution-focused problem-solving skills, ability to work collaboratively and independently under instruction,
Sound knowledge of exhibition production art handling gallery equipment technical audio-visual equipment for presentation works of art is advantageous.
