Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent required (Associates degree or higher preferred).
• Experience working with children or in an educational setting preferred.
• Ability to work effectively with students, teachers, and parents in a collaborative environment.
• Patience, empathy, and a passion for helping students succeed.
• Prior experience with ASD populations is preferred

Job Details:

• Full time preferred

• Caseload details disclosed on interview

Responsibilities:

• Assist teachers in implementing lesson plans and classroom activities.
• Provide individualized support to students based on their specific needs and learning goals.
• Monitor and document students' progress and behavior, providing feedback to teachers as needed.
• Supervise students during lunch, recess, and other non-instructional times to ensure their safety and well-being.
• Provide classroom support for students in small groups or one-on-one sessions.
• Assist with classroom management and maintaining a positive learning environment.
