Field Sales Manager - Dallas, United States - Guayaki
Description
We're looking for a Field Sales Manager (FSM)
to own Guayaki Yerba Mate's territory and channel expansion strategies, route-to-market strategies, distribution partner (DP) management, and sales operations functions in the US and international markets.
You'll be responsible for driving successful sales and distribution execution at retail locations within the assigned territory by developing strong working relationships with our third party independent distributors and prioritized accounts to deliver against our goals (KPI's).
How you'll help:
New Business Development
Actively identify and open new accounts through individual sales efforts and in partnership with local 3PDP to increase brand penetration and exceed sales targets
Pursue new opportunities to expand shelf space, add additional SKUs/Facings, improve shelf and cooler placements, and achieve assigned rack/display targets
Introduce brand into new accounts within territory and transition new customer to 3PDP
Engage with Field Marketing Specialist to convert leads from brand/marketing development campaigns into sales opportunities
Retail Execution
Support and monitor in-store promotion execution and display activity within new/existing accounts
Support Key Account team execution on key promotional periods and programs
Ensure the brand is adequately merchandised according to planogram standards and shelf/floor space allocation
Training & Distributor Field Sales Engagement
Conduct weekly distributor sales team in-market work-withs to support in-store sales efforts and to ensure that distributor is aligned on the brand's execution priorities
Provide brand-specific sales training to distributor through regular ride-along sessions
Here's what you'll provide:
3+ years of related sales experience in DSD (direct store delivery) beverage is preferred
Associate's or Bachelor's degree
Must be at least 21 years old
Must have clean and valid driving license
Must have a reliable vehicle and smart phone
Ability to perform physical activities including lifting up to 20 lbs. individually and moving up to 50 lbs. with assistance, as required
Proficient in Microsoft Word, Power Point, and Excel
How you'll be successful:
Proven success in sales and account management growth in a customer/consumer facing business
The ability to thrive in a highly competitive field sales environment
Must be able to work independently and be able to travel regularly in assigned region
Excellent communication skills with external customers, peers, supervisors, and internal supporting departments
