    Job Description


    American Traveler is hiring a CT/Rad Tech (Dual Modality) with at least 1 year of experience for a 12-hour day shift position at a Trauma Level IV teaching hospital.

    Responsibilities

    • Work in a high-volume imaging department at a 182-bed Trauma Level IV teaching hospital with a Chest Pain Center and Stroke Center
    • Patient population spans ED, inpatient, and outpatient areas with an average of 325 patients per day across modalities
    • EMR: Epic
    • Equipment includes Siemens and GE imaging systems
    • 12-hour day shifts, Friday through Sunday, 7:30 AM – 8:00 PM
    • Schedule cycles every 4 weeks
    • Travelers are expected to work 75% of holidays when a holiday falls on a scheduled shift
    • No floating requirements
    • No on-call or call-back requirements
    • Orientation includes online NEO courses followed by 3–5 days of departmental training depending on modality
    • Department is supported by nursing and transport staff, with a team-oriented culture focused on patient-centered care
    • Black scrubs required
    • Free parking available
    • Candidates must live at least 50 miles from the facility to be eligible; local candidates are not accepted
    • Candidates who have worked a permanent position at an AHSE facility must have been separated for at least 1 year before being considered
    • RTO requests require manager approval

    Requirements

    • Minimum of 1 year of experience in CT or applicable imaging modality
    • For CT/DX Dual Modality: current BLS and ARRT(R)(CT) certification
    • Active license required, if applicable
    • Last 4 digits of SSN and full date of birth required for consideration
    • At least 1 professional reference dated within the past year from a Supervisor, Manager, Director, or Charge RN
    • First-time travelers will be considered for this position
