    Spiceworks Ziff Davis is on the hunt for an experienced Analyst to embark on a never-ending quest.


    What you'll do: As a SWZD Research Data & Operations Analyst, you'll be tasked to leverage fact-

    based research to help clients better market their software and services and make informed decisions

    about their product and marketing strategies. As an Analyst, your job is to collect, analyze, and present

    survey data and generate insights to understand what's relevant and what's not.

    What will be your responsibilities?


    • Conduct research regarding business-to-business (B2B) technology usage and end-user opinions
    • Devise and assess procedures and methods for data collection, including opinion polls, surveys
    and questionnaires


    • Work closely with industry research directors to support data collection and content creation
    activities in each of their areas of expertise


    • Collaborate with customers and clients to write customized marketing reports based on survey
    data


    • Visualize and present survey data in accurate and engaging charts to help clients make decisions
    • Prepare reports on findings while illustrating data with graphs and translating complex results into
    written texts that are clear and understandable


    • Collect and analyze data regarding customer preferences, demographics, buying habits and
    needs to better identify market potential and factors influencing product demand


    • Investigate creative ways to improve research processes and explore new areas of B2B
    technology


    What does it take to do this job?


    • 1-2 years of relevant market research, statistics, or survey experience
    • Strong writing and presenting skills
    • Excel-based data analysis skills
    • Creativity in problem solving
    • Upbeat attitude - approaches challenges as opportunities
    • Desire for exposure to multiple disciplines
    • Understanding of technology vendor landscape
    • Knowledge/experience with technology marketing
    • Familiarity/acumen with business software (i.e. Salesforce, SAP, MSFT)
