- Collaboration with a multi-disciplinary team of Physicians, Clinical Psychologists, PMHNPs, LCSWs, and LPCs
- Provision of psychological testing and evidence-based psychotherapeutic interventions for a wide range of patients with varying diagnosesOf note:
- Centra's Doctoral Psychology Internship (CDPI) launched in January Accredited by the Association of Psychology Postdoctoral and Internship Centers (APPIC), the internship is a one-year, full time comprehensive training opportunity for doctoral level clinical, counseling or school psychology students. CDPI currently offers 2 full-time internship positions with a focus in either Child/Adolescent or Adult Care. Centra's Psychiatry & Behavioral Health Service Line looks forward to welcoming its first CDPI interns in Summer 2024. This brings opportunities for consultation, training, teaching, and supervision of PhD or PsyD students.

Centra's Psychiatry and Behavioral Health provide important mental health services to our community through a variety of programs. We offer inpatient programs which include Acute Psychiatric Program for Children & Adolescents, an Adult Psychiatric Program, and a Geriatric Psychiatric Program. We also provide ambulatory services through Piedmont Psychiatric Center, Centra Pathways Treatment Center for persons with substance use disorders related problems and Consult Liaison Services with two hospitals.
