Job Overview
Description
We are seeking a Licensed Psychologist to conduct medical assessments for United States Veterans as part of the VA's disability benefits process.
In Disability Assessments, you will review behavioral health records electronically and perform comprehensive assessments in person on each Veteran.
You will also fill out Disability Benefits Questionnaires (DBQs) through the Web Portal.
The Licensed Psychologist in this role does not make disability determinations; instead, the U.S. Veterans Administration uses the findings recorded in the DBQs for determinations.
This position focuses solely on Disability Assessments for Veterans, without involvement in treatment or medication prescription.
The Licensed Psychologist will assess an average of 3 (sometimes 4) Veterans per day and will be engaged as an Independent Contractor.
Schedule: 2-3 days in person
