MMC Location: Morristown, NJ, 07960 Shift: 9 am-5 pm Start Date 05/13/2024 End Date 08/10/2024 On call or weekends required? Yes Float yes float to endovascular OR suite, offsite location where IR cases are performed based on operational needs

yes weekdays and weekends to include holiday on call assignment.

Night call weekend 24 hours on call requirements Duties Assist proceduralist during complex diagnostic and interventional vascular, neuro-interventional cases with scrubbing side by side with specialty proceduralist Strong knowledge of Floor and ceiling-mounted fluoroscopic modality machines The ability to identify, retrieve, and Circulate complex products during interventional procedural cases The ability to critically think during neuro-interventional cases and complex cases to assist proceduralist The ability to operate power injection of iodinated contrast media device during diagnostic and interventional procedures Strong communication skills using closed-loop communication The ability to maintain sterile technique and maintain infection prevention measures to set up procedural trays for case load Positively contribute to a multi-disciplinary team of with nurses, radiologists, and vascular surgeons Knowledge of documentation in electronic medical records and sending images to Sectra/PACs system Groin management post-intervention Demonstrate the ability to provide high-quality care in a fast-paced environment BLS from an approved AHS credentialed American Heart Association or a BLS accredited with skill demonstration in basic life support measures Current licensure with the certification with ARRT NJ state ( defined in the above JD.) This role is similar to a cardiovascular technologist ( CVT) but MUST have radiographic licensure to operate x-ray fluoroscopic modalities.

3-5 years of experience as an Interventional Radiologic technologist or a Cardio-Vascular technologist with NJ radiographic licensure. Skills 3-5 years of experience as an Interventional Radiologic technologist or a Cardio-Vascular technologist with NJ radiographic licensure.

Education BLS from an approved AHS credentialed American Heart Association or a BLS accredited with skill demonstration in basic life support measures Candidate submissions must have an Atlantic Health coversheet identifying schedule, COVID-19 status (Vaccinated or exemption) and Certifications.
