    The Systems Administrator is responsible for all back-office systems, server virtualization, and infrastructure. This role requires close collaboration with the Help Desk Services, DevOps Services, and Infrastructure and Security Services Teams to ensure reliable and timely delivery of practical technical solutions. The role is that of a technical contributor, works collaboratively with other team members, and is responsible for delivering solutions that meet the needs of the business. The strength of the role is to technical expert across a wide range of areas for the team and has the expectation to create, streamline, and implement policies, procedures and processes.

    Responsibilities:

    • Manage all Systems Services
    • Monitor and maintain all mission critical infrastructure, systems and applications.
    • Help define the IT Systems Services strategy and promote continuous improvement of systems, virtualization, and infrastructure.
    • Foster positive relationships with end-users, internal teams and drive customer satisfaction.
    • Analyze business requirements by partnering with key stakeholders to develop solutions to meet company goals and objectives.
    • Evaluate and remediate any technology, process, or resourcing risks.
    • Ensure that all backup and disaster recovery services are maintained and tested on a regular basis.
    • Define and implement processes and procedures for supporting all departments and business units across the organization.
    • Create, maintain, and continually improve upon all systems services processes and documentation.
    • Provide subject matter expertise with email systems (Exchange) and collaboration systems such as Sharepoint and Teams.
    • Assess vendors and develop verification, rollout and maintenance strategies for new equipment.
    • Maintain up-to-date inventory of all IT systems related equipment, software, and licenses.
    • Assist team with daily tasks, prioritization, and triage, and troubleshooting.
    • Work with the Systems & DR Manager and Senior Systems Engineer to build, support, maintain all systems infrastructure.
    • Communicate effectively and keep all stakeholders informed and consulted where appropriate.
    • Usually acts as project owner for Systems Services projects and provides technical leadership to the team.
    • Wide latitude for independent judgement and decision making.

    Experience:

    • 3+ years' professional or technical experience in IT systems, server, and infrastructure with a strong background in all aspects of customer service.
    • 3+ years' experience with Virtualization using VMWare ESX/ESXi, Windows Server administration, Exchange/Office365 Administration, and Sharepoint.
    • Strong communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to effectively listen and communicate information in a clear and concise manner.
    • Ability to Plan, organize, and coordinate work to meet established deadlines and accommodate rapidly changing priorities.
    • Preference will be given to candidates with direct hand on experience performing migration/support of on-prem Exchange to Exchange 365 or experience with Exchange 365.
    • Fully experienced with all aspects of server room work and equipment including firewalls, switches, cabling, patching, UPS installation and configuration, monitoring, securing, fire suppression systems, moisture detection systems, server racking and installation.
    • Skilled with back office systems, infrastructure, technologies, and equipment including but not limited to VMware, Windows, Linux, Exchange/Exchange 365, HP EVA SAN & Storage, Dell/HP Servers.
    • Solid experience and understanding of networking and security fundamentals.
    • Experience with monitoring tools such as SolarWinds, DataDog, Elk, LogRythym, etc.
    • Bachelors or Associate technical degree in Computer Science, Information Systems or related discipline, or equivalent relevant experience in addition to the minimum experience.
