    Description

    Williamsport South Rehabilitation Nursing Center is seeking a compassionate and skilled full-time Physical Therapist to join our dynamic rehabilitation team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for developing and implementing individualized therapy programs designed to restore, reinforce, and enhance the functional performance of our patients.

    Salary: $60,000 - $80,000 per year

    Job Description:

    Collaborative Rehabilitation Team Member:

    • We are looking for a qualified Physical Therapist to work collaboratively with other healthcare professionals to ensure patients receive high-quality, evidence-based care that promotes their independence and well-being.
    • The ideal candidate will develop and implement individualized therapy programs using a variety of treatment techniques.
    • Patient Education and Training:
      • Instruct, educate, and train patients and caregivers in skills and functions essential for promoting patient independence, improving quality of life, and diminishing or correcting pathology.
    • Supervision and Leadership:
      • Supervise Physical Therapist Assistants, provisional licensees, students, and support personnel in accordance with state licensure requirements and professional standards.
    • Treatment Planning:
      • Develop personalized care plans using a variety of treatment techniques.

    Qualifications:

    • Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT) or Master's in Physical Therapy (MPT) from an accredited program.
    • Active state Physical Therapy license in good standing.
    • Previous experience in a skilled nursing facility or similar setting is preferred.
    • Strong knowledge of rehabilitation protocols and techniques.
    • Excellent interpersonal, communication, and leadership skills.
    • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
