Traveling Entry Level CMT Technician - Pay: $20-23/hr.


Job Description:
We are currently seeking entry-level technicians to expand our team. Will be working with the nationwide leader in materials testing and geotechnical consulting services for environmental and construction projects

The role involves active participation in large construction projects across Colorado and Wyoming.

THIS JOB IS 80% TRAVEL - Will be traveling around the Denver metro area, Northern Colorado and Cheyenne, WY.

Job Details:

As a technician, you will be tasked with materials testing to assess the physical properties of highway construction materials, including aggregate and asphalt mixtures.

Responsibilities will include sampling and testing asphalt, concrete, and other surfacing materials.

Performing aggregate tests such as sieve analysis, sand equivalent, and moisture content.

Utilizing nuclear gauge equipment to test densities of various materials.

Conduct construction job site tests.

Record test data, and interpret test results to ensure quality and compliance.

100% outdoor work environment, will be working in the heat and cold.

It is a Physical job as it is required to move buckets of concrete and asphalt. Will be kneeling and crouching as well.


Requirements:
Must have an Associates Degree (Science/Math Education Preferred)

Ability to lift 75+ lbs.

Be able to work 100% outdoors in extreme cold and heat.

Valid Driver's License

Clean Motor Vehicle Record

Have own reliable car

Flexibility to travel.

• LabCAT is a plus (training provided)

Project Details:

Locations:
Denver Metro area, Northern Colorado, and Cheyenne, WY.

Shift: 1st - Monday - Friday 12-14 hour days - Potentially working weekends depending on projects needs.

Sometimes will be required to stay overnight.
