Client is looking for a Marketing Operations Data Analyst to join our Audience Targeting and Optimization analytics team. In this role, you will work closely with stakeholders daily who are both familiar and unfamiliar with client's customer data to define and build audiences for their desired product marketing messages (ex: cross-sell, feature release, etc.) and event marketing campaigns. These audiences will be built by querying our relational database OR within a GUI called ActionIQ.

    • Conducting data discovery and curating SSOT documentation for disparate data sources (ex: new tables or columns)
    • Strong data manipulation skills - advanced proficiency in SparkSQL or similar syntax

    Responsibilities:

    • Work directly with stakeholders across the org to define and refine audience requirements for their product marketing messages (ex: cross-sell, upsell, feature releases, etc.)
    • Create audiences for product marketing and event campaigns (in-person or virtual events) by querying our relational database OR within ActionIQ
    • Segment new and existing audiences for dynamic emails, A/B tests, and experiments
    • Help identify opportunities for campaign optimization and marketing personalization (ex: query optimization, audience overlap, etc.)

    Requirements:

    • BA/BS degree
    • 3-4 years of experience in analytics
    • 3-4 years of experience with relational databases and SQL query languages
    • Advanced proficiency with SparkSQL or similar syntax
    • Self-starter with great curiosity about technology and behavior
    • Stellar written and communication skills
    • Experience managing projects end-to-end, including task definition, work estimation, and status reporting
    • Clear, effective verbal and written communication skills including the ability to actively listen, problem-solve, and communicate across technical and non-technical business teams
    • Comfortable operating in ambiguous, fast-changing environments
    • A willingness to learn and adapt to new technologies and methods as needed
    • Familiarity with Atlassian products like Confluence and Jira is a plus

    Duration:12 months, with extension potential

Location:100% remote in USA, but must be able to work West Coast hours

    Compensation:$40-55hr DOE
