    Description


    Summary This position is established in the USMC Light/Attack Helicopter Program Office (PMA-276), under the Program Executive Officer, AIR, ASW, and Special Mission Programs (PEO(A)).You will serve as a PROGRAM MANAGER, H-1 Air Vehicle and Engines Team Level 2 (IPT) Lead.

    Responsibilities You will analyze needs and synthesize requirements information to develop requirements for program initiatives and planning. You will direct the development of comprehensive program plans to ensure fulfillment of requirements, fiscal adequacy, and planned progress. You will identify and defend resource requirements (funding, manpower, facilities, etc.) for life-cycle management of the assigned program. You will assure proper training for each team member. You will serve as the central contract point within the program office for all matters concerning the assigned program. You will establish and maintain relationships both within the organization and with relevant external groups.

    You will be responsible for all matters related to H-1 capability upgrades, reliability design initiatives, and support as required to the Capability and Combat Relevance IPT Lead in ensuring capability relevance.

    You will address emerging threats of the H 1 weapons system throughout its operational service life.

    Requirements Conditions of Employment Qualifications Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the NH-3 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector.


    Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: 1) Analyzing needs and synthesizing requirements information to develop requirements for program initiatives and planning; 2) Directing the development of comprehensive program plans to ensure fulfillment of requirements, fiscal adequacy, and planned progress; 3) Directing the preparation of documents, specifications, requirements, criteria, and standards that define needs and parameters of the program; 4) Identifying and defending resource requirements (funding, manpower, facilities, etc) for life-cycle management of the assigned program; 5) Providing management direction to all Integrated Product Team (IPT) members and to other personnel directly assigned or detailed to support the assigned program; 6) Synthesizing critical management issues, documentation and relevant information to support program reviews.
