    Job Description:

    Our Work depends on an Intelligence Planner that demonstrates knowledge and proficiency of Intelligence Planning (IP) concepts, principles, practices and responsibilities in support of Combatant Command priorities and requirements in the INDOPACOM AOR.

    HOW AN INTELLIGENCE PLANNER WILL MAKE AN IMPACT

    • By supporting the development of campaign plans, deliberate planning, crisis management, and time sensitive planning in accordance with the Joint Planning Process (JPP) and Adaptive Planning and Execution (APEX) in support of INDOPACOM Joint Intelligence Operations Center (JIOC)
    • Providing intelligence plans support to operational wargaming, red teaming, and intelligence operations supportability estimates within APEX and JPP across full spectrum operations
    • Collaborating across the INDOPACOM theater of Operations, amongst the US IC and partner nations to include, coordinating and prioritizing the integration of INDOPACOM PIRs, intelligence ISR, and asset management
    • Synchronizing J2 intelligence support with CCDR vision and objectives, to include but not limited to theater priority plans, crisis support and in support of exercises with a focus on priority theater training and engagement
    • Participating in Intelligence Planning Working Groups, key conferences and other prescribed planning venues to inform and support global integration of defense intelligence through the Joint Staff J2 as appropriate
    • Supports special projects as required
    • This position may require travel

    WHAT YOU'LL NEED TO SUCCEED:

    • TS / SCI, Polygraph
    • Bachelor's degree and 8 years' relevant experience, with at least a portion of the experience within the last 2yrs
    • Experience in the DoD intelligence profession (i.e., intelligence plans, intelligence watch operations, requirements management, analysis, collections)
    • Experience supporting the coordination, development and/or inputs into the Annex B Intelligence, operational and / or planning orders
    • Experience participating in and / or supporting DoD exercises (i.e., White Cell, Monitoring Mission Essential Task List criteria, responding to the exercise scenario in an intelligence or intelligence evaluator role)
    • Familiarity with the Intelligence Planning (IP) process and/or JOPES / APEX, and/or DoD planning processes
    • Optional - Desired experience in any of the below- Communicating with / briefing senior leaders (General Officer level or civilian equivalent). Upper graduate certification in Master of Science of Strategic Intelligence (MSSI) from National Intelligence University (NIU); Joint Professional Military' Education (JPME) level 1 / 2 certifications; Joint Intelligence Planner Tier 1 certification (JIP-I).
