• Friday 6:30 17:00, w/variable day off; call required.

Texas Health Harris Methodist Hospital Southwest Fort Worth (THSW) is a 222-bed full-service facility that includes surgical and imaging services, a 24-hour emergency department, orthopedics and sports therapy, adult critical care, and a Level III neonatal intensive care unit.

Position Responsibilities THSW Certified Surgical Tech's will assist in some incredible Robotic procedures to include Urologic, Gynecologic, and General Surgery.

They also will assist in 10 OR suites providing services in Orthopedic, Ortho/Spine, Podiatry, Plastics, Vascular, Gynecology, Urology and General Surgery.

EducationH.S. Diploma or Equivalent and was employed to practice surgical technology in a health care facility before September 1, 2009 Req OrOther Graduate of an accredited surgery technology program, Vocational Nurse Program or graduate/completion of a military training program in surgical technology Upon hire ReqOther Graduate of an accredited surgery technology program, Vocational Nurse Program or graduate/completion of a military training program in surgical technology Upon hire PrefExperience1 Year current operating room experience PrefLicenses and CertificationsCST

• Certified Surgical Technologist graduate of an accredited surgical tech program Upon Hire Req OrCST
• Certified Surgical Technologist and was employed to practice surgical technology in a health care facility before September 1, 2009 Upon Hire Req OrCST
• Certified Surgical Technologist graduate/completion of a military training program in surgical technology 2 Years Req OrLVN
• Licensed Vocational Nurse Upon Hire Req AndBCLS
• Basic Cardiac Life Support prior to providing independent patient care and maintained quarterly ReqSkillsA high degree of confidentiality, positive interpersonal skills, acceptable grooming practices and ability to function in a fast paced, changing environment.
