    • Location: Franklin, WI
    • Facility: Midwest Orthopedic Specialty Hospital
    • Department: Surgery
    • Schedule: Full time, Work week is 36 hours/week or 12 hours/day (x3 days). NO 2nd shift, NO weekends, NO holidays (ON CALL or URGENT/EMERGENT cases only). Flexible start times from 0530AM to 0700AM. ON CALL rotation during weekdays, weekends and holidays

    Responsibilities

    • Orchestrate the sterile environment by meticulously preparing instruments and supplies to ensure every surgical procedure begins with a foundation of safety and precision.
    • Anticipate the needs of the surgical team by expertly managing the flow of instruments, allowing the surgeon to maintain focus on the patient and the procedure at hand.
    • Champion patient safety through vigilant monitoring of surgical counts and sterile techniques, ensuring a seamless transition from the first incision to the final closure.
    • Support patient dignity and physical readiness by leading the careful positioning and draping of patients, creating a secure environment for successful clinical outcomes.
    • Collaborate in life-saving maneuvers by assisting with hemostasis and critical technical tasks, directly contributing to the stability and recovery of the patient during surgery.

    Requirements

    Licensure/Certification/Registration:

    • BLS Provider obtained within 1 Month (30 days) of hire date or job transfer date required. American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted.

    Education:

    • High School diploma equivalency with 2 years of cumulative experience OR Associate's degree/Technical degree OR 4 years of applicable cumulative job specific experience required.
