** Banquet Houseperson - Part Time**

**Description**
Duties include overseeing and maintaining designated function rooms to groups requirements and in accordance with established standards; assisting the supervisor and servers in assuring proper service levels and proper set up is maintained; and busing plates, glassware, and cutlery from function rooms/space at conclusion of events. **($15 - $20/hour or more based on business volume and including tips)**
**Essential Job Duties**
1. Previous experience in banquets and/or food and beverage strongly preferred.
2. Knowledge of various room set-ups and standard equipment involving room set-ups.
3. Commitment to delivering world class guest service and anticipate guest needs.
4. Knowledge of proper chemical handling and cleaning techniques helpful.
5. Proven ability to multi-task effectively, work as part of a team and under deadlines,
and exercise good judgment.
6. Excellent attention to detail is a must.
7. Ability to be proactive and take initiative as appropriate.
8. Strong communication skills.
9. Ability to exhibit high level of professionalism.
**Requirements**
1. High School Diploma (or GED).
2. Minimum of two years related experience.
3. Ability to provide excellent service to internal and external customers.
4. Excellent multi-task skills.
5. Knowledge of various room set ups and standard equipment involved.
6. Able to work under stressful and busy situations.
**Physical Requirements**
1. Able to lift and carry up to 50 pounds on a frequent basis.
2. Endure various physical movements throughout the work area
3. Remain in stationary position for 30 minutes/hours throughout your work shift.
4. Working both indoor and outside in all types of weather with fluctuations in
temperature and conditions.
5. Satisfactorily communicate with guests, management, and co-workers to their
understanding.
