    Primary responsibilities for the Financial Analyst include:

    • Serve as the Finance representative during the daily manager meetings, integrating any pertinent information updates into the creation and distribution of the financial reports and weekly forecasts.
    • Manage the Excel financial models essential for generating monthly financial reports.
    • Keep PowerPoint slides for quarterly Board of Director meetings current and accurate.
    • Update and manage actual results within department budgeting and forecasting files.
    • Collaborate with department managers on budgeting and analyzing monthly variances.
    • Offer ad hoc analysis as required.
    • Acquire a comprehensive understanding of departmental business operations and establish links between financial data and business processes.

    Ideal skills and experience for the Financial Analyst:

    • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting or Business
    • Advanced MS Excel skills, including pivot tables and advanced formulas (e.g. vlookup, sumif, index match).
    • Experience using PowerBI or other data analysis/visualization tools a plus.
    • A solid understanding of finance principles and practices gained from a combination of either significant finance coursework along with 0 – 3 years of experience in a financial analyst role.
    • Experience in financial analysis for a manufacturing or similar company preferred.
