- Serve as the Finance representative during the daily manager meetings, integrating any pertinent information updates into the creation and distribution of the financial reports and weekly forecasts.
- Manage the Excel financial models essential for generating monthly financial reports.
- Keep PowerPoint slides for quarterly Board of Director meetings current and accurate.
- Update and manage actual results within department budgeting and forecasting files.
- Collaborate with department managers on budgeting and analyzing monthly variances.
- Offer ad hoc analysis as required.
- Acquire a comprehensive understanding of departmental business operations and establish links between financial data and business processes.
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting or Business
- Advanced MS Excel skills, including pivot tables and advanced formulas (e.g. vlookup, sumif, index match).
- Experience using PowerBI or other data analysis/visualization tools a plus.
- A solid understanding of finance principles and practices gained from a combination of either significant finance coursework along with 0 – 3 years of experience in a financial analyst role.
- Experience in financial analysis for a manufacturing or similar company preferred.
