Burlington Furniture Company, established in 1984 and locally owned, is Vermont's premier destination for home design. Our 45,000-square-foot showroom serves as a state-of-the-art Design Center, where designers assist customers in transforming their houses into homes.

Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site Sales and Design role based in Burlington, VT. The role involves creating personalized solutions for customers by understanding their needs and offering tailored furniture and design recommendations.

Responsibilities include maintaining excellent customer service, participating in sales activities to meet sales goals and supporting customers with design consultations to create their ideal spaces.

Qualifications
Strong communication and interpersonal skills for engaging with customers effectively
Experience in customer service, follow-up and relationship-building to ensure client satisfaction
Proven skills in sales and sales management to meet and exceed objectives
Ability to participate in training sessions and adapt to new design trends
Basic knowledge of interior design and furniture is a plus
Highly motivated, detail-oriented, and capable of working collaboratively in a commissioned environment
Familiarity with modern retail and design software applications is an advantage
