    Description
    *Overview*: Production operators have responsibility for assembling standard and precise electrical or mechanical assemblies or sub-assemblies having a variety of parts and details. Operators shall be trained to operate equipment and work stations following standardized work instructions to ensure product is built to high quality standards. Operators are assigned to teams to work together to meet on-time delivery, safety, and production cycle time goals. High performing operators also contribute by continuous improvement of the quality of product and processes. Team Members are expected to work with the guidance of the line lead who can help them develop additional skills as may be needed for team development and expertise. Team Members are responsible and accountable to the team for success. Team Members may be asked to coach or train temporary assignees or fellow team members.

    *Core Responsibilities:
    • Work at different workstations where tasks vary and as production needs require and rotate through multiple tasks required in various production processes.
    • Follow prescribed work processes and procedures to seat, clip, screw, cement, solder or otherwise fasten parts together to complete a finished part, sub-assembly or PC board as required per customer or company specification.
    • Operate test equipment to verify part compliance with customer and company specification.
    • Conduct tests and inspections of products, services or processes to evaluate quality or performance in maintaining internal and external specifications.
    • Operate machines such as manual press, tester, laser welder, charger, oven and various manual, power or pneumatic hand tools, to perform force fitting or fastening operations in cell or in assembly process.
    • Provide constructive feedback and assist line leads, engineering, and management in achieving continuous improvement to our production processes.
    • Conduct 5S+1 processes to ensure a safe, clean and organized work environment.
    *Qualifications*Knowledge & Skills:*Production and Processing* — Knowledge of production processes, quality control, and other techniques for maximizing the effective manufacture of products.
    *Operation Monitoring* — Observing gauges, dials, or other indicators to make sure a machine is working properly.
    *Quality Control Analysis* — Conducting tests and inspections of products to evaluate quality.
    *Active Learning* — Understanding the implications of new information for both current and future problem-solving and decision-making.
    *Reading Comprehension* *(English)* — Understanding written sentences and paragraphs in work related documents.
    *\*Electronics Assembly *— Proficient in Through Hole and Surface Mount Solder repair. Trained to IPC A 610 inspection.

    $ $18.00 per hour
