    Job Summary Description


    The L48 Field Analyst will support the various operations and capital organizations by providing: cost object training, preventative analytics, corrective actions on cost object errors, compliance reporting, and liaising between Finance, AFE, and Supply Chain functions on processes and controls.

    If located in Houston Headquarters, you will travel to the field location on a routine basis. During the go-live of the nxtgenERP project, travel is expected to be more than 50%.
    Job Description

    Your responsibilities may include:
    Develop and provide cost object training to field personnel
    Support project related training for changes in processes and/or systems
    Support segregation of duties training for invoice reviewers and approvers
    Develop analytics to identify cost object errors and training gaps
    Run monthly analytics, conduct research as necessary, and report to management on compliance issues
    Re-open or provide alternative cost objects for closed coding
    Generate journal entries to correct posting errors
    Re-training as needed
    Provide support for ad-hoc projects
    Respond quickly to needs of field personnel
    Liaison between systems, processes, and functional SMEs


    Basic/Required:
    Must be legally authorized to work in the United States on a full-time basis for anyone other than current employer
    3 or more years of Oil and Gas experience
    1 or more years of invoice processing and/or controls experience
    Willing and able (with or without reasonable accommodations) to travel 50% of the time on a yearly basis


    Preferred:
    Bachelor's degree or higher in Finance, Accounting, related field, or foreign equivalent
    1 or more years of SAP S4, GEP and Enverus transactional experience
    Strong interpersonal and analytical skills with keen ability to identify potential problems or areas warranting further analysis, or investigation
    Ability to coordinate requests for information efficiently
    Strong oral & written communication skills
    Good presentation skills
    Good organization skills and ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously under tight deadlines
    Takes ownership of actions and follows through on commitments by holding others accountable and standing up for what is right
    Builds effective solutions based on available information and makes timely decisions that are safe and ethical
    Listens actively and invites new ideas for exchanged opinions, then influences and acts to drive positive performance and achieve results
