Job DescriptionDescription:

Job Summary

This position is responsible for performing machine shop and press operations in a cabinet-manufacturing environment to support the assembly floor.

Responsibilities

Support the CARE values of the organization.
Commit to producing a quality product for our customers.
Completes tasks as directed by manufacturing schedules with minimum supervision
Performs prescribed preventative maintenance on machines as required.
Must monitor the quality of the parts being assembled.
Report defective materials or questionable conditions to department supervisor or manager.
Maintain the work area and equipment in a clean and orderly condition and follows safety regulations and use of safety equipment. '
Follow established methods and procedures and be able to perform, but not limited to, operations to machine parts for cabinets manufactured
May work at different workstations as production needs require, or shifts from one station to another, during the work process.
Will be required to perform other duties as requested, directed or assigned.
Other duties as assigned.

Requirements:

Qualifications

Good verbal and written communication skills
Detail Oriented
Safety focused.
Good analytical skills
Ability to read and interpret drawings and visual interpretations.
Ability to perform basic mathematical skills.

Working Relationship

Communication is required across all levels of the organization- executive team, other functional leaders, subordinates and production floor workers. The Machine Operator works under the immediate supervision of the Finishing Supervisor.

PPE

Safety glasses, hearing protection, and safety shoes at all times while in the production floor.

Non-air-conditioned environments; hazardous materials such paints, stains and solvents; machinery, conveyors, spray-booths and drying racks.
