    Role Description

    This is a full-time hybrid role for an Employment Litigation Attorney with HKM Employment Attorneys LLP located in Denver, CO. Remote work is available to the team balanced with in-person work. The Attorney will work on a team that is focused on noncompete litigation as well as matters involving discrimination, retaliation, and wrongful termination. The Attorney will also provide employment-related counseling to clients and actively participate in all stages of litigation.

    Qualifications

    • Juris Doctor degree from an accredited law school
    • We think the ideal candidate will have been practicing between 2 - 8 years in some form of civil litigation. Employment law experience is a plus but not required.
    • Experience handling all phases of including drafting complaints, conducting discovery, and drafting motions
    • Strong writing and research skills
    • Excellent client service skills and experience working with clients in a professional environment
    • Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment
    • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
    • Must be licensed to practice law in Colorado
    • Experience in counseling and advising clients on employment-related issues including noncompete agreements, discrimination, retaliation, and wage and hour matters is a plus
    • Experience in trial, mediation, and arbitration is a plus
