    Role Overview

    This position offers leadership and assistance to the senior executive role (CNO) overseeing all nursing and designated patient care functions within the hospital organization. The individual will be responsible for assessing, planning, coordinating, implementing, and evaluating nursing practice on a multi-unit scale, with 24/7 accountability for designated areas. The primary focus is to ensure high-quality, safe nursing care, staff competency, and optimal resource management related to patient care.

    Responsibilities

    • Maintain an active registered nurse license in the state of practice
    • Demonstrate strong interpersonal and communication skills
    • Show proven leadership and operational abilities in a hospital setting
    • Act as a role model and advocate for nursing professionalism

    Requirements

    Education: Associate degree from an accredited nursing school with a bachelor's degree in a health care-related field or a BSN. Preferred: MSN or master's in a health care-related field.

    Experience: Minimum of 2 years of progressive management experience in a hospital environment as a manager or full-time charge nurse/related position.

    Certifications: Current professional license, certification, or registration as required by state regulations; CPR certification.
