    The Regional Continuous Improvement Consultant will be responsible and accountable for the identification and execution of seed productivity initiatives and continuous improvement projects throughout their respective region's Global Seed Operations end-to-end value chain. In this role, you will use your knowledge to lead, execute and implement key initiatives and projects to achieve identified metrics or goals that will support and meet the goals and objectives of Global Seed Operations. The Continuous Improvement Consultant will be responsible for providing expert coaching on Lean & Six Sigma tools and methods to complete the implementation of the productivity initiatives and projects to meet the business objectives in safety, cost, quality, reliability, and operational excellence.

    What You'll Do:

    + Build relationships across all levels of the organization, champion lean six sigma and continuous improvement initiatives.

    + Lead and execute Seed Productivity projects and other continuous improvement projects for their respective Global Seed Operation Regions

    + Collaborate with key Seed Operations stakeholders, for the delivery of results and establishment of a culture of continuous improvement.

    + Lead key continuous improvement efforts ensuring that clear goals, actions, and expectations are established, tracked, communicated, and realized.

    + Facilitate teams through project activities by providing continuous improvement methodology expertise.

    + Perform data analytics to drive fact-based decision making.

    + Develop relationships with business partners to understand their strategic goals and objectives and their business functions to become a trusted partner on continuous improvement initiatives.

    + Develop linkages to ensure alignment to the business' strategic goals and objectives and accountability regarding continuous improvement within the business community.

    + Assist the business in identifying continuous improvement opportunities and then working with them to scope/quantify the initiative to facilitate prioritization of projects.

    + Analyze and develop recommendations regarding failures and lost production, identify and implement solutions to improve the system, standard work and processes.

    + Implement and optimize production excellence processes and components.

    + Independently handle complex issues with minimal supervision, while escalating only the most complex issues to appropriate staff.

    Qualifications

    Education:

    + Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Business, Education, Industrial, Technical, Finance or a related field

    What Skills You Need:

    + Knowledge and understand of lean and six sigma methodologies

    + Experience in leading and executing the implementation of projects and productivity initiatives for businesses to meet objectives in safety, cost, quality, productivity, customer service, and reliability.

    + Drive internal process excellence through identifying and leading targeted continuous improvement projects across business functions

    + Project management experience

    + Experience creating complex tests and analysis

    + Lean Six Sigma certifications (Green or Yellow belt)

    + Ability to travel domestically 15% of time
