- Assists senior leadership in identifying and evaluating risk exposures.
- Provides management with recommendations to strengthen risk management and control processes across the organization.
- Assists with reviewing and maintaining the Bank's internal control documentation.
- Maintains work papers detailing the area covered by the audit schedule. The Internal Auditor is generally scheduled to work between the hours of 8: 00 AM and 5:00 PM Monday through Friday, hours can be flexible depending on need. Internal candidates located in one of our branch locations may be considered.
- 1-2 years' audit, lending, deposit, operations, or accounting experience in a financial institution.
- Experience with financial institution software systems (e.g., Finastra, Fiserv, Jack Henry, OnBase, etc.).
- Ideal candidates will also possess excellent written, verbal and interpersonal communication skills, strong attention to detail and have the ability to work independently. What you'll love about us
