Job Description:
We are currently seeking an experienced CVOR Tech for a travel assignment in Rochester, New York.

As a crucial member of the cardiovascular operating room team, you will assist in various cardiac procedures, providing essential support to the surgical team and ensuring high-quality patient care.

Responsibilities:

Collaborate with surgeons, anesthesiologists, and other healthcare professionals to ensure prehensive patient care.
Assist in preparing the operating room for cardiovascular procedures, including the setup of surgical instruments and equipment.
Ensure all necessary equipment and supplies are sterilized and ready for use.
Provide intraoperative support by passing instruments and supplies to the surgical team.
Monitor patients' vital signs and assist with hemostasis, tissue retraction, and other tasks during surgery.
Maintain a sterile field and adhere to infection control protocols and safety standards.
Assist in postoperative procedures and patient care as needed.

Requirements:

Certified Surgical Technologist (CST) with specialization in cardiovascular surgery.
Minimum of 2 years of recent experience working in a CVOR setting.
BLS certification.
Strong munication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to remain calm and focused under pressure.
Flexibility to adapt to varying schedules and work environments.
Willingness to travel.
