    Job Description

    A key contributor to our manufacturing team, the Manufacturing Engineer III plays a pivotal role in problem resolution and process optimization. This position involves applying Lean or Six Sigma principles to improve existing processes, ensuring production of cost-effective and high-quality products.

    This role contributes to our vision by:

    • Deploying and sustaining 5S initiatives
    • Creating sequential production cells
    • Supporting Accelerated Improvement Workshops
    • Conducting and coordinating monthly audits of our lean production system
    • Investigating and documenting process best practices for sharing across the shop
    • Ensuring the continuous improvement initiative is deployed throughout the company according to plans and expectations
    • Adhering to safe work practices and contributing to the evolution of our health, safety, and environmental program and culture
    • Regular, predictable attendance is required
    • Other duties may be assigned

    Requirements

    • Currently pursuing or recently completed a Bachelor's degree in Engineering
    • Proficient with Microsoft Office – Excel, Word, Power Point - Beginner
    • Analytical, self-starter, proactive, with excellent communication skills
    • Knowledgeable in Lean Manufacturing
    • Able to relay information both verbally and in writing
    • Ability to complete projects with little supervision
    • Good interpersonal skills
    • Looking for candidates with a can-do attitude and sense of urgency in completing projects and tasks on time
    • Ability to work in a team environment
    • Exhibits self-esteem, able to accept responsibility, and highly organized
