- Contribute in an impactful manner to route identification and compound design for our partner/customer projects.
- Effectively manage a chemistry team in Billerica, MA and collaborate with our Shanghai and Zhejiang sites with open and clear communication to support our partner/customer projects in a timely manner.
- Excellent synthetical skills and knowledge to effectively solve chemistry challenges.
- Set up and develop peptide synthesis platform to serve our partner and customer need.
- Design and improve synthetic routes to support the design and synthesis of novel molecular entities with decent scale including purification and analytical characterization.
- Follow up, analyze, and improve business relationship with our partners and customers.
- Actively participate in recruitment, training, and development of scientific staff.
- PhD in organic chemistry with 5+ years experience in organic synthesis.
- Track record of organic chemistry to show effective problem-solving ability.
- Candidate lab/team management or supervisory experience will be preferable.
- Excellent communication skills are required.
- Pharmaceutical industry experience is preferred.

We are seeking a highly talented and experienced team leader to join our Chemistry Excellency Department at Apeloas Billerica, MA site. The candidate will be responsible for leading a chemistry team and supporting our partner/customer chemistry projects in a timely manner. The candidate should have a deep understanding of reaction mechanism and extensive experience in organic synthetic chemistry. They will effectively manage the chemistry team/resources in the Billerica site and should have a track record of chemistry accomplishments.
