    • NDX Global Dental Solutions Dental Lab in Atlanta, GA is currently hiring for a Denture Technician III - Removables - Tech Advisor with experience in the removable department. If your background fits this description, we want to hear from you.
    The regular hours for this position are 8 AM to 5:00 PM, Monday through Friday, and subject to change as needed.

    Primary Responsibilities and Essential Functions of the Position:
    • Facilitate assigned technical area (Fixed/Removable) communications for in process cases and prospective cases for "treatment planning."
    • Make proactive calls to follow up on completed cases for new doctors and for new products.
    • Complete an "administrative quality inspection" on all cases, including checking items on the work ticket, prescription, product & billing accuracy, and adding personal notes where appropriate in the software and work ticket.
    • Provide special attention to new doctors and existing doctors/customers that are experiencing concerns.
    • Analyze remakes by customer and ensure any issues are resolved. Discuss trends with the General Manager to ensure customer retention. Utilize the MT software as needed.
    • Follow up on all customer issues to be sure the issues identified are resolved to the customer's satisfaction. Discuss issues with the General Manager as required.
    • Review incoming photos/ emails from customers as required.
    • Working through the General Managers, technically advises and assist with training lab technicians on an as required basis.
    • Actively participate and share ideas
    • Quality control of inbound completed cases from offshore, in various stages of production. Corrections to the cases as deemed necessary upon QC inspection.
    • Quality control of inbound cases domestically to review the inbound materials for satisfactory ability to proceed with manufacture. If unable to proceed with the provided materials, contact the customer according to the Doctor's preferred method, in regards to the issue and options for resolution.
    • Pouring models, duplicating models, and manufacture of rush cases, overdenture cases, removable repairs, relines and rebases, custom trays, vacuum formed appliances and other cases as required by the necessary shipping date necessary to meet delivery of the case before the patient's appointment.
    • Order premium or special removables teeth as required. Order parts as deemed required for removables, attachments, and implants.
    • Maintenance of equipment.
    • All other duties as assigned.
    Skills and Abilities Required:
    • Must be able to read, write, speak and understand English.
    • Must have computer skills including typing and familiarity with Microsoft Office products.
    • Verbally communicate via telephone, maintaining a positive demeanor.
    • Read and interpret prescriptions and other required documentation.
    • Ability to communicate technical information effectively verbally and in writing per established procedures and processes.
    • Verbally communicate with all levels of staff, maintaining a positive demeanor.
    • Takes initiative and attention to detail.
    • Excellent listening skills.
    Minimum Education and Experience Required:
    • A minimum high school diploma or GED.
    • 5 plus years production experience to include interacting with customers on technical issues.
    • 5 plus years broad dental lab technical experience including complex and combination cases. Advanced training in dental technology.
    Hazardous Materials or Equipment Used:
    • Laboratory equipment that may include: grinders, lathes, ovens, burners, pressure pots, steamers and boiling water, hand piece.
    • Scanning Equipment.
    Physical Requirements:
    • While performing the duties of this job, the team member is regularly required to walk, sit, stand, and/or reach.
    • The individual will regularly use office equipment such as a telephone, personal computer (including keyboard and mouse), printers/copier, reports and files.
    • The ability to talk and hear is required.
    • Specific vision abilities required by the job include close vision, color vision, depth perception and the ability to adjust focus.
    • Regularly required to exhibit fine motor skills and/or perform repetitive motions using both arms and hands grasping, gripping, pinching, lifting, and carrying. Constantly lifting & carrying 0-25 lbs.

    Physical Requirements:
    • Perform tasks at multiple workstations, standing and sitting for extended periods.
