    Enerfab has over 120 years of experience, offering fabrication and construction capabilities to a wide variety of customers for the chemical, food & beverage, oil & gas, heavy industrial and power industries.     The Field Engineer I will play a crucial role in supporting project activities, conducting site inspections, assisting in project coordination, and ensuring that construction projects progress smoothly and according to specifications.

    Key Responsibilities:

    Site Inspections:
    • Conduct regular site inspections to monitor construction progress, quality, and safety compliance.
    • Record and report any issues, discrepancies, or safety concerns to the project team.
    Surveying and Measurements:
    • Assist in surveying and measuring construction layouts, dimensions, and elevations using survey equipment and tools.
    • Verify that construction activities align with project plans and specifications
    Documentation and Record Keeping:
    • Maintain organized and up-to-date project documentation, including drawings, specifications, and inspection reports.
    • Prepare and distribute project-related documentation to relevant stakeholders.
    Project Coordination:
    • Collaborate with project managers, senior engineers, and construction teams to ensure efficient project coordination and communication.
    • Assist in resolving design and construction-related issues.
    Quality Assurance:
    • Support quality control efforts by conducting inspections and verifying compliance with project quality standards.
    • Identify and address non-conformance issues.
    Safety Compliance:
    • Promote and adhere to safety protocols and guidelines on the construction site.
    • Participate in safety meetings and contribute to a culture of safety.
    Data Analysis:
    • Collect and analyze data related to construction activities, materials, and progress to support decision-making.
    • Assist in generating reports and summaries as needed.
    Qualifications:
    • Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field.
    • 0-2 years of relevant experience in construction or engineering (internships or co-op experience is a plus).
    • Basic knowledge of construction methods, materials, and industry standards.
    • Familiarity with surveying equipment and measurement tools.
    • Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
    • Effective communication and teamwork abilities.
    • Willingness to work in a dynamic and often outdoor construction environment.
    • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and project management software is beneficial
