    Description

    In this role you will provide engineering and medical device experience to develop state of the art catheters in an exciting market.

    Essential responsibilities:

    • Apply medical device industry experience to assist in new and existing product development.
    • Work with other cross functional team to coordinate material selection, material testing and material specification setting for pilot production of new products.
    • Responsible for supporting tooling, equipment engineering, fixture design, prototyping, developing early concept processing, testing and specification setting
    • Identify clinical needs and opportunities for new device concepts
    • Support company goals and objectives, policies and procedures, Good Manufacturing Practices, and FDA and international regulations.
    • May be required to resolve technical challenges with existing designs and support portfolio sustaining activities
    • Continually contribute to generation of intellectual property
    • Create and manage tasks within a project schedule

    Required Knowledge and Experience:

    To be considered for this role, please ensure the minimum requirements are evident on your resume.

    • Bachelor's degree required and 4+ years of relevant experience OR Advanced degree and 2+ years relevant experience in the medical device industry.
    • History of working within large and small company quality systems to deliver design control documentation (FMEA's, Engineering Reports, DVP, Requirements Specifications).
    • Hands on catheter processing ability; must be able to build and test prototypes.
    • CAD experience using SolidWorks and applied statistics using Minitab Software or Excel.

    The following experience for this role is desirable:

    • Vascular catheter experience (coronary or peripheral) in at least one of the following areas: Angioplasty Catheters, Scoring/Cutting Balloons, Drug Coated Balloons, Stent Delivery Catheters, Intravascular Lithotripsy.
    • Worked in a medical device start-up and proven track record of bringing a product to market from early concept through development.

    Job Type: Full-time

    Salary: $100, $140,000.00 per year

    • SolidWorks: 3 years (Preferred)
    • Minitab: 1 year (Preferred)
