At the moment, this role is focused on:

Oversee the timely and accurate preparation of monthly, quarterly and annual financial statements in compliance with Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP) and other relevant accounting standards required across the Group.

Lead and mentor a team of high-performing accountants, fostering a culture of continuous learning and professional development.

Develop and maintain effective internal controls to safeguard our accounting and close processes and enhance the reliability of financial information.

Assess and mitigate financial risks, providing recommendations for improvements and optimization.
Support collaboration across departments to enhance cross-functional understanding of financial processes and outcomes.
Streamline and optimize financial processes, leveraging technology and best practices to enhance efficiency and accuracy.
Identify opportunities for system enhancements and lead implementation efforts to ensure the scalability of financial operations.

You have demonstrated success in managing and scaling Corporate Accounting processes through rapid growth in a public company environment, with a proven ability to develop and support the execution of effective strategies.

You have strong leadership and team management skills with a proven track record of building high-performing teams.

You can effectively collaborate with cross functional teams to drive business process transformation and change management through your craft expertise and communication style.

You have extensive experience in establishing and standardizing policies, processes, procedures and controls that are SOX compliant.
You have proficiency in financial software and systems; experience with ERP systems is a plus.
