    Wesley Village is a full-service retirement community offering long-term and skilled care, which includes short-term rehabilitation and memory care. Wesley also includes independent living homes, independent living apartments, Wesley-At-Home Home Services, Home Nursing Services and Home Healthcare. We are looking for dependable compassionate, caring and hardworking individuals.

    3rd Shift - 6:00 pm to 6:30 am

    Full and Part Time availability

    EVERY 3RD WEEKEND

    Responsibilities

    • Work directly with older adults in a home-like setting
    • Provide medication administration
    • treatment and assessment of wounds
    • Full body assessments
    • Assist with ambulation and range of motion exercises
    • Report any unusual changes in residents to physicians, carry out orders.
    • Assess and act quickly and responsibly in cases of emergency
    • Encouragement and Involvement of ADL and work with CNA
    • delegate responsibilities appropriately and follow up
    • Common computer skills for accurate documentation
    • Great ability for teamwork and problem solving skills
    • Adapts to change brought about by external and internal situations and to be able to deal with them in a cooperative and mature way.
    • Must possess the ability to deal tactfully with residents, family members, coworkers and visitors

    Qualifications

    • Valid IL Nursing License
    • Valid CPR
    • Dementia experience preferred
    • Dependable and Punctual
    • Enjoy working in a geriatric community, eager to improve and continuously learn new skills
    • Ability to lift and/or move up to 50 pounds with physical capability to perform job-related duties
    • Reliable transportation every single day
    • Ability to act in a compassionate and supportive manner
    • Willingness to enforce health and safety standards
    • Take pride in providing high quality compassionate care
