Job summary
We are looking for an Airside HVAC Service Technician who have worked with or is interested in light commercial and/or heavy commercial markets Join our team and work with the most advanced heavy commercial and industrial cutting-edge air handling equipment This is a remote position for candidates based in the US Candidates must be open to 80-100 travel We will equip you with safety requirements tools required certifications and a vehicle to perform your job at the highest standard Under leadership direction you will work on the truck-based team providing routine periodic service and inspections on Mechanical HVAC equipment at customer sites regardless of the size or location of the HVAC mechanical air handling equipment being worked on Installing new Johnson Controls HVAC equipment Service existing HVAC equipment Troubleshooting diagnose problems provide solutions in conjunction with JCI team/leadership Explain educate customers on appropriate use operation of their HVACEquipment Documentation work performed generating work orders job reports Required High school diploma or GED Mechanically inclined self-motivated Valid driver's license Basic computer skills experience Microsoft Office programs Preferred Working knowledge refrigeration operating parameters strong foundation electrical controls refrigeration troubleshooting Associate degree vocational certificate program HIRING HOURLY RANGE $43000-$55000 Hourly rate determined by education experience knowledge skills abilities applicant internal equity alignment market data Competitive benefits package posted salary range reflects target compensation role However exceptional candidates may bring unique skills experiences that exceed typical profile If believe background warrants consideration beyond stated range we encourage apply To support efficient fair hiring process we may use technology-assisted tools including artificial intelligence AI help identify evaluate candidates All hiring decisions ultimately made human reviewers For details please visit About Us tab Johnson Controls Careers site
