    At SSM Health , we are committed to delivering exceptional healthcare services, and SLUCare represents the academic medical practice of Saint Louis University , known for leading-edge care and groundbreaking research.   SLUCare Cardiology is seeking a full-time (1.0 FTE) Physician Assistant with cardiology experience.  The APP will support our cardiology program at SSM Health Saint Louis University Hospital.   This outpatient focused position is needed to allow more time for residents and attendings to provide timely inpatient consults.  Additionally allow residents and attendings to accept and admit Cardiology patients from the community and other SSM ministries as well as perform more structural procedures.  New grads are welcome to apply.

    Job Details:

    • Outpatient clinic setting with some inpatient rounding responsibilities
    • Schedule: flexibility  for 4-day work week
    • NO nights/weekends/holidays or call
    • Patient focused support staff
    • Practice at a new, state-of-the-art facility

     Minimum Qualifications:

    • Graduate of nationally accredited Physician Assistant (PA) program
    • Certified Physician Assistant
    • Current Missouri RN licensure or PA licensure or ability to obtain
    • Prefer experience in cardiology but will consider recent graduates

    SLUCare Physician Group and SSM Health have partnered for decades to provide exceptional medical services to patients at Cardinal Glennon Children's Hospital, St. Mary's Hospital, and most recently Saint Louis University Hospital.

    SLUCare's more than 600 faculty, other academic medical professionals, and staff are now a dedicated academic physician division within SSM Health – St. Louis and continue their work as researchers and educators. They will collaborate with SSM Health Medical Group's more than 600 community-based providers to deliver care at more than 50 physician office locations, as well as through comprehensive virtual and digital health services
